Abstract

912,304. Terminal blocks; plug boards. GLASEL, G. Feb. 18, 1960 [Feb. 18, 1959], No. 5740/60. Class 38 (1). A terminal strip comprises a number of connecting elements 1 mounted in portions 2 of insulating material, each portion being joined by bridges 8 and having bevelled edges 3 for identification markings. The terminal strips may be stacked as shown in Fig. 4 and secured to a support by screws 7. The terminals may be formed as projecting tongues as shown, may be recessed in the casings 2 (Figs. 6 and 7, not shown) or may have a projecting tongue at one end and a cable clamping sleeve at the other (Fig. 5, not shown). The terminal strip may comprise a first bar for the connecting elements and a second bar having bevelled edges for the markings.
