847,404. Binding posts. UNITED - CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 4, 1957 [Nov. 23, 1956], No. 31216/57. Class 38(1) A printed circuit panel 10, 11 has a binding post which comprises a central portion 16, an integral hollow prong portion 13 and a tail portion 15, both extending at any angle which may be 90 degrees. 'The tail portion 15 may be channel or Vee shaped and the prong portion 13 tubular, both being for the reception of connecting wires placed internally, or wrapped externally on the tail portion. The prong 13 is frictionally mounted on a conductor 11 of the panel 10, which prong 13 may be inserted into a socket mounted on a conductor 11.
