Abstract

935,582. Two-part couplings. AMP Inc. May 25, 1962 [June 29, 1961], No. 20180/62. Class 38 (1). An electrical connector for joining a lead 7, 8, 9 to an electrically conductive tine 1 consists of a receptacle portion 10 arranged to receive the tine 1 and two ferrule forming portions 11, 14 joined to the receptacle portion 10 by necks 12, 13. The ferrule 11 is crimped round the conductor of the lead while the ferrule 14 is crimped round the insulation. Several connectors may be placed on a single tine as shown and may have detent means to lock them together.
