Class 51 (1) A modification of the combustion apparatus disclosed in the parent Specification comprises cyclone chambers 11, 12, 13, 14 discharging into a supplementary furnace chamber 1 so as to produce a rotating flame therein. Air is introduced into the chamber 1 through nozzles 37 and 39 and air and granular fuel through the nozzle 36. The chamber 1 discharges through a central aperture 10.
