Class 51 (1) A pulverulent-fuel cyclone furnace has fuel and air inlets 24 in a rear zone of the furnace chamber and inlets 23 which supply air and fuel to an intermediate zone of the chamber, different fuels being supplied to the two sets of inlets. In operation, low-grade fuel is supplied to the inlets 23 and high-grade fuel to the inlets 24.
