Abstract
1292606 Liquid fuel fired boilers YGNIS SA 19 Sept 1969 [1 Oct 1968 5 Sept 1969] 55277/71 Heading F4B The disclosure is similar to that of Specification 1,292,605 but the claim is directed to a process for the combustion of liquid fuels in which a fuel/air mixture is introduced as a jet from at least one burner with a cooled, unlined combustion chamber of at least approximately hollow-spherical interior in such a way that the combustion gases thereby produced are caused to circulate in a rotary stream within the chamber and in which the gases are allowed to discharge from the chamber in one or more directions in the zone. The combustion chamber has one or more outlets in the zone of the axis of the rotary stream.
