Abstract
1458386 Burners NIPPON FURNACE KOGYO CO Ltd 13 Dec 1973 [23 April 1973] 57874/73 Heading F4T In a high pressure burner, fuel, or a mixture of fuel and steam or air is injected into a chamber 4 wherein it is caused to flow along one side due to the Coanda effect whereby high temperature combustion gas is inducted along the opposite side of the chamber from the combustion space 9 to diffuse into the fuel stream to promote endothermic gasification of the fuel. The flow is stabilized by air from inlets 7 or 8.
