Abstract
1311070 Consuming noxious vapours MIDLAND ROSS CORP 11 Aug 1970 [30 Sept 1969] 38714/70 Heading F4B Waste gases from a wire coating process, which are to be burnt, are drawn from conduit 84 into an entrainment and mixing chamber 52, by hot combustion gases injected through nozzle 44 from a combustion chamber 28 provided with a pressure or combustor type burner 32, the entrained gases from chamber 52 flowing out through throat 64 to an incinerating chamber 72. Combustion air may be supplied through burner 32 to combustion chamber 28, and/or through distributer 82 to mixing chamber 52 and/or through plenum housing 74 to incinerating chamber 72. Details of the chamber dimensions and operating conditions are given.
