Abstract

716,896. Couplings. SKELLERN, R. Jan. 28, 1953, [Feb. 13, 1952.] No. 3847/52. Class 38(1). A battery terminal connector comprises a unitary body formed of a pair of cylindrical portions A<SP>1</SP>, A<SP>2</SP> disposed at right-angles to each other, the portion A<SP>1</SP> having formed in one end a tapered socket B to receive the battery lug and the portion A<SP>2</SP> having formed in its outer end a parallel-sided socket C to receive a cable end, the socket C being lined with a brass bush F inset therein during the moulding of the connector. A screw E passes through an aperture in the end of socket B to secure the connector to the battery lug and screws H clamp the cable end.
