Abstract

684,110. Two-part couplings. NETTLE ACCESSORIES, Ltd., and GOODLIFFE, J. G. June 20, 1951 [June 21, 1950], No. 15475/50. Class 38 (i). A fuse arrangement in the socket-outlet adaptor described in Specification 684,109 comprises a fitting 8 in which is secured by a screw 9 one end of the cartridge fuse 10, and having a blade 11 adapted to engage a clip 12 connected to one contact of each set of contact clips, Fig. 3 (not shown), which receive the subsidiary plugs. The other end of the fuse 10 is secured in a clip 16 attached to a live contact pin 4, the latter having a peg 17 co-operating with a hole in the body 1. The fitting 8 is mounted on an insulating base 7 received in a recess 18 in the adaptor and having grooved ends so as to be readily removable therefrom.
