Abstract

622,621. Two-part couplings. BENDER. C. C. April 1, 1947, No. 8869. [Class 38 (i)] In a plug comprising a cap 2 with a lateral aperture 1 for a lead 6 and a cover-plate 4 carrying pins 3, the cover-plate is provided with a bore 7 extending part way or completely across it, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown), one end of the bore registering with the aperture 1. The lead is passed through the bore and connected to the pins, thereby being bent both at right angles to the plane of the cover-plate and in the plane thereof so that friction prevents easy disconnection thereof. An additional holding insulating screw 11 bearing on the lead may be provided.
