Abstract

716,555. Valve amplifying circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. Feb. 11, 1952 [June 27, 1951], No. 15279/51. Class 40 (6) An amplifier of adjustable input impedance comprises two valves in cascade, the grid of the first, 2, being connected to an adjustable tapping on an impedance 11 in the cathode return path of the second, 6, while the two cathodes are connected together over a condenser 8. A further condenser 7 is connected between anode and cathode of the valve 2. The input is applied to the cathode of the first valve 2 and the output taken either from the cathode or anode circuit (Fig. 1, not shown) of the valve 6. Specifications 672,373, 684,963 and 716,543 are referred to.
