Class 40 (6) In a wide band amplifier comprising three resistance-capacity coupled stages with overall negative feedback provided by returning the cathode circuit of the last stage V3, to the cathode of the first VI, the resistances CR1, 2 being in common, excessive phase-lag at upper frequencies, causing instability, is avoided by means of a secondary feedback path comprising a condenser FC connected between the cathode of the stage V3 and the grid of stage V2. The condenser FC may alternatively be connected between the anode and grid of the stage V2, Fig. 2 (not shown).
