Abstract

678,060. Valve amplifying circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. March 13, 1951 [July 7, 1950], No. 17094/50. Class 40 (vi). In a phase-splitter in which the output is taken from between the anode and cathode of a valve 7 having anode and cathode impedances Z3, Z4, the grid of the valve is fed from the anode of a preceding valve 1 and a feed-back path is provided between the anode of the phasesplitter and the cathode of the preceding valve. The feed-back path may be a direct connection, Fig. 3a (not shown), may include a series resistor, Fig. 3 (not shown), or may comprise a cathode follower valve 14. Preferably the feed-back is such as to reduce the output impedance at the anode of valve 7 to that at the cathode.
