Abstract

601,410. Valve amplifying circuits. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and CHATTERJEA, P. K. Oct. 2, 1945, No. 25569. [Class 40 (vi)] Balanced to unbalanced circuits are coupled over a valve 1, the anode and grid being fed from tappings on two equal resistors 6, 7 connected across the balanced input, the output being taken from between anode and earth. The tappings are adjusted to provide equal potential variations at the anode of valve 1, in-phase fluctuations on the line being rendered ineffective. Specification 590,443 is referred to.
