Abstract

589,845. Valve amplifying circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and ESPLEY, D. C. March 26, 1945, No. 7571. [Class 40 (v)] In a circuit for deriving a push-pull output from an unbalanced source and extending over a wide frequency range, the output is taken from selected points on transmission lines in the anode loads of two valves, the second valve being fed from the line in the anode lead of the first. The anode load of valve V1 comprises an artificial line of sections L1, C1 terminated by an impedance R1, L4, C5, a tapping at the end of the first section, feeding, over the attenuating network R2, R3, a second valve V2 having a similar artificial line as an anode load. The output tappings on the lines are chosen so that the transmission times from the anode of valve V1 are equal.
