Abstract
555,334. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., and MOIR, J. Jan. 13, 1942, No. 486. [Class 40 (v)] In a push-pull two stage amplifier with the input applied to a single valve a single negative feedback path is provided from the secondary of the output transformer to a point on the common cathode resistance in the input stage. The Figure shows an arrangement with the input applied through condenser C1 and feedback applied through resistance 11 to the junction point of resistances R2, R3 forming part of the common cathode resistance of the input stage which is connected through the blocking condenser C2 to the grid of the second valve of the pair. Specification 519,448 is referred to.
