Class 69 (3) A generally conical tubular shield 4 for fitting over an outlet nozzle 16 of powder spraying apparatus, provides an internal discharge passage having a minimum cross-sectional area substantially greater than that of the nozzle outlet, and includes a conical flow-diverging baffle 17. The latter is arranged nearer the outlet of the shield than the inlet, and is secured by arms 20. The shield and baffle may be circular or oval in cross-section. Specification 704,937 is referred to.
