Abstract

696,955. Looms with stationary weft supplies. DEWAS, R. Aug. 15, 1950 [Sept. 8, 1949], No. 20238/50. Class 142(ii) Different selected wefts are inserted into the shed by a number of selecting members 11, one to each kind of weft, and each of which brings a selected weft 7 into the path of a single presenting member 15 which conducts it to the opening of the shed where it is positioned by a hook 22 mcunted on the slay. Each member 11 has an end 11a actuated by a needle or pusher member of a dobby mechanism, and a forked or pig-tailed end 11b to engage the weft. The presenting member 15 is actuated by a groove 18 in a face cam 17.
