Abstract

1,028,255. Weft pattern mechanism, shuttleless looms. BRELIC INTERNATIONAL Inc. June 12,1964 [June 13, 1963], No. 24421/64. Heading D1E. Selected weft feeders 14 are lowered against the action of springs 19 by electro-magnets 16, 17. As the weft is pulled through the shed its tension moves the guide arm 13 away from a contact 24, Figs. 2, 3 (not shown). If the weft breaks the guide arm abuts the contact 24 and the loom is stopped. If no thread guide is lowered contacts 34, 36 remain closed and stop the loom.
