Abstract

1,269,356. Weft stop motions; shuttleless looms. COURTAULDS Ltd. 8 Aug., 1969 [9 Aug., 1968], No. 38191/68. Heading DIE. A stop motion for a jet loom comprises a tooth of a weft guide comb through which the weft leaves at beat-up and opens contacts 11, 13 to allow operation to continue. Absence of weft leaves the contacts closed and the loom is stopped, or provides an indication of weft failure.
