Abstract

676,087. Cable clips. TINNERMAN PRODUCTS, Inc. Feb. 15, 1951 [March 16, 1950], No. 3692/51. Class 36. [Also in Group XXV] A clip for fastening cables to an apertured support A comprises a piece of spring sheet metal bent to form a base 11 and projecting spaced shank elements 14, 19 of which the former is of hook form extending over the latter and providing a support engaging shoulder 17. A shoulder 18 provided by a tongue pressed out of the element 14 abuts the rear side of the support on the opposite side of the aperture. The base 11 is arched so as to seat against the support A and in the form of Fig. 1 has a clipping arm 20 to grip the cables. As shown in Fig. 5, the clip may be adapted to be mounted on a curved support A by the provision of a pair of fingers 35 on the base bent so as to engage the support. The base may carry a cable clipping arm at each end.
