Abstract

1,123,287. Clips. UNITED-CARR Inc. 22 May, 1967 [10 June, 1966], No. 23665/67. Heading E2B. A clip 1 for attaching a member 17 to a support 16 comprises a body portion 2, a plurality of generally rigid arms 3 extending laterally from one end of the body portion 2 in spaced relationship and provided with teeth 9 extending in the general direction of the opposite end of the body portion, at least one spring arm 4 extending laterally from the opposite end of the body portion 2 towards the rigid arms, the spring arm 4 having a plurality of prongs 10 disposed adjacent the teeth on the rigid arms and cooperating therewith to form a jaw far gripping the support 16 and means 13 on the body portion or on the spring arm for engagement by a fastener for securing the member to the clip. As shown, the means 13 is a screwthreaded hole.
