670,833. Stapling. L.M.K. MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and WRAY, E. J. Nov. 22, 1950 [Dec. 2, 1949], No. 31028/49. Class 89 (iii). A stapling tool comprises an upper pivoted arm 4 carrying an anvil 5 and a lower pivoted arm 1 carrying a staple magazine 8 held in spaced relation to a base member 2 by springs 6, 33, respectively. The spring 33 serves to hold a member 30 carrying a driver blade 32 against the lower face of the base 2. The staples 9 are retained by overlying flanges 10 and are pressed forward by a pusher 12 under control of a spring 17 acting on a member 13, 15 slidable on a rod 16.
