665,025. Combustion chambers. SOC. NOUVELLE DES AUTOMOBILES UNIC. June 14, 1949 [July 20, 1948], No. 15814/49. Class 7(iii) A heat-resisting steel ring 5 is inserted, as by screwing, into a cylinder head at the inlet end of a torus-shaped combustion chamber 2, offset with respect to the axis of the cylinder and communicating with the cylinder by a large aperture offset relatively to both the axis of the chamber and of the cylinder. The exhaust valve 1 is located in the chamber from which the inlet valve 6 is isolated. Specification 584,966 is referred to.
