[Also in Group XI] The lamp-holder 3 of a vehicle rear light is moulded integral with an annular reflex reflector 2, the central aperture 9 of which provides passage for the lamp into the holder. The holder has a lateral contact 12 connected to a contact 14 on the lamp casing and a slidable end contact 11 connected to the lamp casing by a spring 13. A plano-convex lens 10 screws into the aperture 9 and presses the lamp against the end contact. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a lamp-holder, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), formed integral with or attached to the front glass 2 of a vehicle head lamp. The bulb is pressed against three extensions 23 of a tubular part 22 of the holder by a spring 26 on a cover 10 screwed into a central aperture in the front glass. Contact springs 28 on the bulb cap engage contacts 29 on the tubular part of the holder, the leads to the contacts 29 being embedded in the front glass. The Specification as open also comprises a vehicle head lamp in which the bulb is pressed inwardly by a lens screwed into the central aperture of the front glass so that the end contact of the bulb engages a blade spring contact secured to but insulated from the lamp casing; the other contact is formed by a metal strip with an aperture through which the bulb cap passes. In another construction the cap of the bulb of a head-lamp serves as the cover for a central aperture in the front glass and is secured therein by a bayonet connection. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
