Abstract

1,069,475. Vehicle interior lamps. SWFSPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZOBEHOER GUSTAV RAU G.m.b.H. March 11, 1965 [March 12, 1964], No. 10307/65. Heading F4R. [Also in Division H2] The transparent cover 2 of the lamp is used as the actuating member of a switch which can occupy three positions, in one of which the light is switched on directly, in one of which it is connected to a switch controlled by the door and in the centre one it is " off ", the ends 12 of the cover exposing inscriptions " on " and " door ", when displaced towards one or other end. The lamp 5, preferably a festoon bulb, is supported between a socket 4 on an inward projection of the cover 2 and a spring 9 supported by an arm 8 from the side of the lamp casing. The arm 8 has a projection 10 engaging in one of three bushes 11 on the cover, the middle one being insulating and the outer ones serving to complete the circuit to the lamp direct or via the door switch respectively.
