662,278. Thermionic valves. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL, Ltd. June 10, 1949 [June 15, 1948], No. 15514/49. Addition to 647,375. Class 39 (i). A centring mica plate 5 has apertures through which pass cathode 1 and grid supports 2, 3, 4 of an electric discharge tube assembly, this mica having superimposed on it another mica plate 6 having two opposed tongues 7, 8 which are sprung against the cathode 1 to hold it in position. Grid supports 2, 3 are also rigidly centred by further slots in the plate 6.
