651,361. Gas burners. LAGNEAU, V. Sept. 2, 1948, No. 23188. Convention date, Sept. 6, 1947. [Class 75(i)] In a gas burner comprising two sets 5, 6 of flame apertures arranged in a single circular row with the apertures of one set alternating with those of the other set, one set 5 opens directly into an annular gas supply compartment 8 and the other set 6 is connected to radial conduits 14 extending through the annular compartment 8 to a central gas supply compartment 9. The circular burner head 4 fitted to the gas supply pipe 1 has an annular partition 7 forming the central and annular compartments 9, 8 and the radial conduits 14 extend from this partition. The gas supply pipe 1 comprises a conduit 3 which communicates with the central compartment 9 and a conduit 2 which is flared at its end to join with the annular compartment 8. A gas injector feeding the two conduits 2, 3 is controlled by a single valve of known type permitting both gas deliveries to be regulated or one delivery to be cut off and the other regulated; alternatively two injectors with independent cocks may be used.
