[Class 39(iii)] An induction furnace winding 1, with an iron shell 2, surrounding workpieces 3, has capacitors 4 connected in parallel with its end portions, and one or more inductances 5 in parallel with its centre portion, to compensate for the decrease of inductive field strength at its ends. Specification 648,026 is referred to.
