640,336. Seats. AKERBLOM, B. V. May 5, 1948, No. 12371. [Class 52 (ii)] A chair or other seat is provided with a back having a part 3 supporting the lumbar region at least, the back being inclined rearwardly and being of forwardly bowed shape while the seat 5 is secured to the back at a height 4 less than the normal height of the occupant's knee bend, the seat sloping back towards the rear. A further support 2 may be provided for the pectoral region the central plane of which extends behind the plane of the lumbar support 3 as shown in Fig. 4.
