Abstract

479,868. Seats. HAGUE. A. H. W. Aug. 13, 1936, No. 22318. [Class 52 (ii)] In a seat,' the frame 1, carries a back member 11 and resilient supporting means such as rubber strips 6 upon which rests a seat cushion 5, and the seat cushion, when depressed with its supporting means by an occupant, acts upon means which press the bottom of the back cushion forward to the angle between the seat and back. Such means mav consist of strips of flexible but inextensible material 13 extending from the front of the frame, under the seat cushion and between the strips 6, and behind the back cushion 11 to the top of the back frame. The seat cushion is suspended from the top member of the back frame.
