[Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv)] In a chair having an angularly adjustable back the upholstery springs are carried by flexible laths s running from the top rail k of the back to the front edge p of the seat and made in two parts hinged together at a point t in the neighbourhood of the pivotal axis of the back frame. The top rail k may be resiliently suspended from the back frame. Specifications 363,451 and 407,370 are referred to.
