[Class 52 (i)] In a chair or settee supported in cantilever fashion at or near the front by means of resilient members secured to the seat and to a base, the seat is additionally supported from the base by a rigid fulcrum member h interposed between and secured to the upper and lower arms of the resilient member d. The latter may consist of a U-shaped leaf spring secured to the base b and the seat frame a by screws passed through the limbs. The fulcrum member is secured to the spring d by screws j.
