[Class 52 (ii)] An upholstered hairdressing chair is provided with an upholstered leg rest comprising a cushion D pivoted to a sliding frame A which, in the retracted position, is disposed below the chair seat, but, when extended, permits the leg rest cushion D to be rotated into operative position and locked by a spring loaded rod F which springs into an aperture in a metal plate E.
