Abstract

487,416. Securing seats together in rows. TAN-SAD CHAIR CO. (1931), Ltd., and GABB, A. H. Jan. 2, 1937, No. 100. [Class 52 (ii)] A seat has one of a pair of upstanding side arms formed with a longitudinal rib c<2> and the other arm formed with a complementary groove d<2> so that each arm is adapted to be slidably interlocked with an arm of an adjacent seat. The arms c, d are of corrugated form and are rearwardly inclined and associated with a pair of rear struts e, f to support a back rest g, preferably pivotally mounted. The legs b may be of the construction described in Specification 487,417 in order to permit nesting of the seats.
