Abstract
510,570. Nesting chairs. VAUGHAN, E: May 19, 1938, No. 14924. [Class 52 (ii)] A nesting chair comprises two parallel side frames each comprising front and rear legs a<1>, a<2> respectively - which converge towards the top, top and intermediate bars a<3>, a<4> respectively connecting the legs a seat b interposed between the top connecting bars of the frames, and a back-rest, c, c' attached to and 'interposed between the side frames. The bars a' may be connected by a cross member a'. In stacking, the bars a<4> of the upper chair rest on the top bars a<3> of the next lower chair, the back rest of the lower chair protruding between the side frames of the upper chair.
