637,187. Grinding and polishing. CAMPBELL, D. April 26, 1947, No. 11237. [Class 60] The motor E and disc D of the saw-sharpening machine of Specification 560,971 are rotatable as a unit about a longitudinal axis 7 as well as a transverse axis 26 relative to the part 3. The disc is mounted on an axle journalled in a part 4 and is driven from the motor by a belt passing through an arcuate slot 31 in a plate 25 which pivots about the axis 26. The part 4 and the motor are secured at opposite ends of a shaft (not shown) journalled in the plate 25 which is provided with indicator plates 36 to check the angle to which the disc is set. These plates also show at 35A the direction in which the teeth of the saw should face. Locking screws are provided for the parts 3 and 4.
