[Class 145 (ii).] A portable, electrically driven band-saw machine is provided with means such as an adjustable flat plate 8 to guide the saw along the work, or, when the machine is fixed by a clamp (not shown), to guide the work to the saw. Adjustable indicating pointers may be mounted on the machine. The motor may be arranged to drive through a flexible shaft.
