636,798. Turbine power plant. INTERNATIONAL COMBUSTION, Ltd., and DAVIS, R. F. Aug. 18, 1948, No. 21854. Addition to 636,796. [Class 110(iii)] A gas turbine L drives an electric generator P and the air - compressor D is driven by a steam turbine C with steam from a generator A separate from the gas turbine combustion chamber N. The gas turbine exhaust pre-heats the compressed air at K and the feed water at M. The feed-water is further heated at E. Steam superheated at B passes to turbine C. The condensate is used for inter-stage cooling in the compressor.
