629,272. Air-heating stoves. GENERAL BRONZE CORPORATION. Aug. 30, 1946. No. 26117. Convention date, Jan. 10. [Class 64(i)] An air heater comprises casing walls A provided with an air inlet 4 and an air outlet 2, a blower E or other means for forcing air from said inlet to said outlet, a heat exchange unit D having walls which provide a combustion chamber 15 and spaced heat exchange flues 22 located within and spaced from the casing walls in the path of the air and baffles 29, 31 arranged within the casing walls to form an air conduit whereby the air travels in a tortuous path from said inlet to said outlet, in contact with the walls of the heat exchange unit from the end of said conduit remote from the air outlet to the end thereof adjacent the air outlet. In the form shown, the air heater has an inner casing B into which the blower E blows air from the space between the casings A, B and two downwardly-extending spaced heat exchange flues 22. Oil-burner C communicates with the combustion chamber 15 through a finned duct 18.
