[Class 68 (i)] A combined cutter loader coal - mining machine includes a longwall chain cutter machine 10 in which the outer end 12 of the cutter jib 11 bends upwards so that the one jib serves simultaneously for undercutting and shear cutting, so forming an L-shaped kerf. The loader machine 13 attached to the rear of the cutter 10, comprises a laterally extending jib 15 on which is mounted a circulating conveyer 17, and a rotary loading bar 16 may be mounted on the front of the conveyer.
