[Class 89 (iii)] [Also in Group XXIII] A device for stapling bristles to brush heads comprises a plunger g operable by a pivoted lever d and having a tongue o to engage a staple and force it, together with the bristles through a guide m into the brush head. The guide m which is spring-loaded is pivoted at k to allow of its disengagement from the stapled bristles. The lever d is operated against a spring e by hand, by a pedal or by,compressed air.
