615,747. Manually-actuated valves. FRASER, W. A., and FRASER, H. J. April 12, 1946, No. 11279. Convention date, April 5, 1945. [Class 135] In a valve, e.g. for dispensing beer, the closure member 11, Figs. 2, 4, urged on to a seating washer 9 by a spring 31, is connected, by a rod 15 passing through an aperture in a cam 18 fixed to the casing, to a rotatable cam 17 provided with holes 24 which receive pins 26 secured to a member 27 carrying the actuating handle 29. A spring 30 holes a flange on the member 27 in sealing engagement with a washer 28. The casing and internal parts of the valve may be tinned or plated to prevent corrosion.
