Abstract

703,759. Spray-producers; valves. ECLIPSE SPRAYING CO., Ltd. Dec. 12, 1951 [Dec. 13, 1950], No. 30385/50. Classes 69(3) and 135 A tubular discharge element 10 is fed with liquid through a handle 16 and a passage 17, and contains a valve 12 which is held closed against a seating 13 by a spring 26. The valve is opened by pressing a pivoted lever 14 which engages a nut 19 on the valve stem. A ring 24 between the nut and the element 10 has a sufficiently large central opening to allow the end 21 of the lever to pass through it in the valve closing position, and to allow the ring to be moved to a position in which the end of the lever engages it to retain the valve open.
