Abstract

125,051. Freuler, K. March 30, 1918, [Convention date]. Sliding valves; actuating-mechanism.-A sliding grid valve 9 co-operates with a grid seating 5 against which it is pressed by the fluid, and is actuated by an eccentric pin 16 projecting from a small circular plate 20 through a hole in the seating and engaging the valve member 9. The circular plate 20 has a bearing in a circular recess in a flange of the valve casing and is covered by a loose cover 23. When this loose cover is removed, the circular plate 20, with its operating-handle 19 and the eccentric pin 16, can be removed from the casing as a single unit.
