Abstract

395,587. Plug cocks. DEHNE, K., 30, K÷nigsweg, Charlottenburg, Berlin. Dec. 14, 1932, No. 35472. [Class 135.] In a rotary plug cock wherein the plug is held seated by a spring &c. the plug f is operated by means of a ring b which loosely surrounds the plug and rests on the outside of the casing a, as shown, the said ring having cam surfaces c adapted to coact with corresponding cam surfaces e formed on the plug. To open the cock the ring b is turned by an integral handle or a handle fitted to the strap d, the plug remaining in its closed position until the cam surfaces coact so as to lift the plug in its seating, whereupon the plug turns with the ring towards its open position.
