[Class'102 (i)] A device for dispensing liquids in predetermined quantities, consists of a portable glass reservoir 10, secured to a base 11 and a cap 12 by bolts 13, a pump 16 adapted to draw liquid from the reservoir and a hose 27 terminating in a delivery nozzle 38. The nozzle 38, Fig. 3, which contains within a chamber 46, a ball valve 44, has a tube 48, for eliminating dribbling, screwed into a mouth-piece 45, the latter fitting tightly in a socket 40 within a horizontal projection 39 on the cap 12 when the apparatus is not in use. A drain hole 41 at the inner end of the socket leads to the interior of the reservoir 10. The lower end of the pump barrel 16 communicates by way of a valve member 17, a valve 24 and a nut 19 with a delivery pipe 26. A boss 20 on one side of the member 17 has an inlet port 21 co-operating with a ball suction valve 22. A tubular piece 35, on a piston-rod 30, limits the upward movement of a piston 29 such that when large doses are required the handle 33 is raised until the sleeve 35 abuts a nut 32, each dose then being delivered by depressing the handle 33 until the spring 34 is fully compressed. For small doses, the handle 33 is not raised beyond the position to which it is lifted by the spring 34 before the handle is depressed.
