600,907. Insulation for dynamo electric machines. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Aug. 24, 1943, No. 13807. Convention date, Aug. 25, 1942. Drawings to Specification. [Class 35] The inter-turn insulation of a multi-turn coil is not uniform but comprises a material of sufficient mechanical strength to maintain the spacing provided with a multiplicity of paths therethrough of lower insulating quality. Suitable materials are perforated mica, woven fibre glass or woven asbestos.
