598,718. Centrifugal governors. SOC. ANON. A. SAURER. Sept. 6, 1945, No. 23042. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1944. [Class 57] A centrifugal governor comprises weights 11 geared to a sleeve 15 connected by lever 18 and link 19 to the control rod 20 of a fuel injection pump. The loading spring 28 surrounds the weights and bears against a disc 4 and a ring 27 that abuts levers 23 connected to the sleeve 15. The levers 23 are slotted and the pivot pins 33 are carried by bell-cranks 30 connected to a sleeve 37 adjusted by a rod 40 to vary the leverage with which the spring 28 acts upon the sleeve 15.
